Biography
I am a PhD candidate in Applied Health Sciences at the University of Aberdeen’s Centre for Health Data Science, focusing on advancing AI and biomechanical modelling for healthcare, particularly in rehabilitation applications.
From 2020 to 2025, I have been pursuing my PhD, specialising in markerless motion capture and biomechanical modelling for upper limb analysis. I contributed to developing and teaching the Machine Learning for Healthcare MSc course, designing course materials and mentoring students.
My research, featured in Advanced Science News, includes advancing AI-driven pose estimation through cross-species transfer learning, published in International Biomechanics (2025), arXiv (2024) and PeerJ (2022).My background is in computing science, with a First-Class BSc (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen. I am proficient in AI development and data science, with expertise in secure data handling and collaboration with clinicians.
I aim to apply my AI, modelling, and teaching experience to drive innovative healthcare solutions, building on my contributions to interdisciplinary research.
