Join the Literary Society and Dr Elizabeth Anderson for a special talk to mark the hundredth anniversary of the publication of Mrs Dalloway
14th May 1925. Virginia Woolf publishes Mrs Dalloway, her fourth novel and her second with Hogarth Press, the publishing house she runs with her husband Leonard Woolf — a century later, Clarissa Dalloway’s going-abouts have established Virginia Woolf as a reference for stream-of-consciousness and inspired a whole subgenre of Woolfian novels.
Join the English Literature Society and the Centre for the Novel next Wednesday for 100 Years of Mrs Dalloway with Dr Elizabeth Anderson, a celebration of Woolf’s work and the authors she inspired.
