ClamXav has become a commercial product.
What is happening?
IT Services have become aware that ClamXav, the anti-virus solution deployed on University Mac OSX devices, has now become a commercial product.
If you have configured ClamXav to update automatically, you may receive a message informing you that your “Free Trial” has expired and you need to purchase a license.
What should you do?
Please ignore the option to purchase a license at this time. We are looking at an alternative anti-virus solution for use on our Mac OSX devices and we will communicate these changes to you once finalised.
