The IMS EDI Committee invites you to the next Cakes and Community, which is focussed on discussing “Career Development and Progression”. Cakes and Community is an informal series of lunchtime discussions, aimed at improving and maintaining a positive work and study culture within the IMS. Please come along and share your opinions on how the IMS and the wider University can better help you with your career goals.
Things to consider before your come along.
1. Have you received useful career support that you think others would benefit from?
2. Are there gaps in your training/life skills that you feel could be provided by the IMS, SMMSN, wider University?
3. In what ways could your career progression and goals be better facilitated?
Please bring along your lunch and we will provide tea and coffee, and a selection of cakes and baked goods.
To allow anonymous feedback, we will be using the Vexox polling system as part of the discussion, so please bring along a device so you can respond to polling questions.
The discussion will take place in the IMS level 5 Conference Room on Wednesday 10th June at 11:30 am.
We look forward to seeing you there.
