Housing over 350 scientists and support staff, the Institute of Medical Sciences can be found next to the Rowett Institute off Ashgrove Road West at the top of the Foresterhill site. A staff Car Park is available outside the building.
Known as the IMS, it opened in 1996 and was the first stage of a £50 million development of the research and teaching infrastructure at the Foresterhill site.
The institute is home to Principal Investigators leading cutting edge molecular and cell biology research in a variety of fields. Principal Investigators work closely with their clinical colleagues and represent an international pooling of talent, with staff drawn from across the globe.
The DisabledGo service provides a pan-disability access guide to this building.
