The University has been an accredited Scottish Living Wage Employer with the Living Wage Foundation since 2015, meaning it voluntarily pays the Real Living Wage to all its employees over the age of 18. This is part of the University's commitment to Fair Work First principles.
Culture and Heritage

The University enriches regional culture through events, exhibitions and assets like the WayWORD Festival, which champions creative expression and inclusion, free public exhibitions throughout the year, the Confucius Institute, and the Elphinstone Institute, which preserves and promotes North-East Scotland’s folk traditions and heritage.
