The Baxters Loch Ness Marathon is one of the most stunning marathons in the world! The spectacular route follows alongside the world famous Loch Ness, starting in an atmospheric moorland setting and continues through stunning Highland scenery, taking runners along the south-eastern shores of Loch Ness, across the River Ness, to finish in Inverness. It’s one not to be missed if you’re an avid marathon runner!
We have limited spaces for the marathon at a reduced rate of £35, all we ask is that you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 to support maternal health research at the University of Aberdeen. Working closely with NHS colleagues, our team of researchers are dedicated to patient led research that will vastly improve the care of women and their health from pregnancy, motherhood and beyond. Your support will help us advance our research in areas including fertility issues, maternal nutrition & social issues, miscarriage & still birth, and post-natal complications.
All of our runners will receive fundraising support along the way, a UoA goody bag and a UoA maternal health t-shirt.
