28 Day Challenge

28 Day Challenge

This is a past event

Take on the 28 Day Challenge this February and help us provide life-changing support to students at the University of Aberdeen.

2021 was another challenging year but let’s have a great start to 2022 by taking on the 28 Day Challenge this February to boost your wellbeing and provide life-changing support to students at the University through the Open to All Fund.

The University is committed to providing an inclusive environment where all students can achieve success, whatever their background. The Open to All Fund was established to support students who face barriers to higher education despite being academically capable. Last year, almost 300 students received support through bursaries funded by alumni and friends. We want to help even more students achieve their full potential in the years to come.

The Alumni Relations & Development Trust team will support you in your challenge to take on 28 miles, learn 28 new dance steps, do 28 push-ups a day, climb 28 flights of stairs a day, commit to going for a walk, jog, or cycle every day for 28 days, or anything else that suits you best. Join as a team or an individual - take part whatever way will keep you moving and motivated! You will receive top tips for fundraising, images to use on your social media channels, and access to a 28 Day Challenge team on Just Giving that you can join for easy fundraising.

This is the fund that we are encouraging you to support but please do get in touch if you would like to support a different area of research or specific department - maryam.ali@abdn.ac.uk.
