Common Data Access Ltd (CDA), a not-for-profit subsidiary of Oil & Gas UK which provides data management services to the UK oil and gas industry, is offering two CDA MSc Petroleum Data Management Scholarships. Each scholarship is valued at £5,000 for the duration of the MSc Petroleum Data Management degree and will contribute towards the programme tuition fees.
The scholarships are open to all students holding an offer for either the 12 month full-time or 27 month part-time MSc Petroleum Data Management degree programme starting in September 2018.
Students resident in the UK and eligible for long-term work in the UK (UK/EU passport, overseas students with Indefinite Leave to Remain status) are eligible to apply.
To be considered for a CDA MSc Petroleum Data Management Scholarship you will need to have an offer of a place on either the 12 month full-time or the 27 month part-time MSc Petroleum Data Management degree programme starting in September 2018. To be awarded a scholarship you must receive and then firmly accept an unconditional offer of a place on this postgraduate degree at the University of Aberdeen. Those who are awaiting degree results and therefore hold a conditional offer of a place can also be considered and will be asked to provide a copy of their degree certificate before the award is confirmed.
The CDA MSc Petroleum Data Management Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need, academic merit and relevant work experience (please see Guidelines document for full details).
As one of the conditions of the scholarship is the ability to demonstrate financial need, you must also provide full details of your financial circumstances i.e. all sources of your own household income and expenditure.
