Location

Gardenstown public hall
Gardenstown, Macduff

Description

A very deteriorated primitive hand painted coat of arms and sign.

Related Information

Showing the motto "Vires animat vires" I think this is an erroneous attempt at the motto of the Gairden family, "Vires animat virtus", Virtue animates our powers. If this family's arms are intended the shield should also be argent not d'or.
