A cone of coursed rubble. The inscriptio reads: Prince Louis of Hesse D'Armstadj - The Princess Alice of England - Married 1st July 1862

Queen Victoria and Prince Albert had 9 children between 1840-1857 They erected cairns for them, mostly at the time of their marriage. Some dates are visible, others are covered in lichen or worn away and illegible. This cairn commemorates the marriage of Princess Alice of England to Prince Louis of Hesse D'Armstadj in July 1862.
