Biography: Son of Richard Carline; born Lincoln, 28 March 1852. M.B., 1875; M.D., 1877. Major, R.A.M.C, August 1910. Mobilized, 5 August 1914. Attached to 4th Northern General Hospital, Lincoln. Home service, 1914-18; M.O., V.A.D. Hospital, Lincoln, 1918-19. Final rank, Lieutenant-Colonel.
