Biography: Son of Allan T. Brown; born Aberdeen, 29 February 1892. Arts, 1912-14. Driver, R.A.M.C., 1st Highland Field Ambulance, March 1914. Mobilized, August 1914. Commissioned, Royal Field Artillery, September 1917. Served—Home, 1914-15, 1917-18; Gallipoli, 1915-16; France, April 1916-February 1917, October 1918-January 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
