Biography: Son of J. Walker, Great Western Road, Aberdeen ; born Hong Kong, 3 December 1901 ; educated at Aberdeen Grammar School. In 1919 he took the Planters' Course, entered the service of Harrison & Crosfield, London, and was engaged for five years in rubber planting in Sumatra. Later he went to Kenya to take up coffee growing. He joined the Kenya Defence Force in September 1939, but went down with pneumonia and died on 20 October.
