Mutch, Henry James Mollison

Biography: Son of Mrs. Mutch, 81 Duthie Terrace, Aberdeen ; born Cove, Kincardineshire, 19 September 1894 ; educated at Robert Gordon's College. A student in Arts at the opening of the first world war he was mobilized in 1914 and served with the Gordon Highlanders till he was commissioned with a Signal Company. He was in action in France 1915-18 and won the M.C. During the recent war he fell into the hands of the Japanese, and his experiences as a prisoner of war eventually led to his death on 4 October 1947.
