Morrison, Lewis Wilson

Biography: Son of Lewis and Jessie Morrison, Sunnyside Road, Aberdeen ; born Inverurie, 1910 ; educated at Inverurie Academy. In 1937 he graduated M.A. with Honours in Mathematics, and after teaching in the Central and Ruthrieston Schools became assistant in Mathematics at Aberdeen Grammar School. At the opening of the war he joined the Royal Engineers, but later was transferred to the Royal Air Force. He was soon on operational duties, and was reported missing and presumed killed in action in September 1942.
