Lieutenant, General Infantry List, attached to the Royal Flying Corps, 4 June 1915; served with Royal Engineers, France, Belgium, June-October 1915, January 1916-March 1919; Home, 1915-1916. Final rank, Captain. O.B.E. (Mil.). Three mentions, April 1916, April 1918, and November 1918.
