Biography: Son of John Anderson; born Macduff, 5 February 1886. M.B., 1908. Enlisted, R.A.M.C., August 1914; commissioned, 19 May 1915, attached to the Scottish Horse. Served - Home, 6 months; France, 3 years, 8 months. Final rank, Major. D.S.O., January 1917. Three mentions.
