Biography: Son of Hector M. Adam; born Aberdeen, 26 September 1879. M.A., 1899; M.B., 1904; M.D., 1919. 1st Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders, 1897-1900. Captain, South African Medical Corps, 1908. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. Served - Gallipoli, Egypt, France, Belgium, 1915-17; Italy, 1917-19.
