Biography: Son of John Morrison; born Aberdeen, 10 December 1892. M.B., 1917. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1911. Mobilized Sergeant, 4 August 1914. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (S.R.), April 1917; R.A.M.C. (Reg. Army), 1918. Served-Home, 1914-15 ; France, February-September 1915. Demobilized. Graduated, March 1917. Attached to Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, May 1917-19. Final rank, Captain. Two mentions in despatches, November 1918, February 1919.
