Biography: Son of Alexander McHardy ; born Carron, Morayshire, 6 December 1898. Arts, 1919-. Private, 8th Cameron Highlanders, 5 April 1917. Served with Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 3rd, 1st, 2nd, Seaforth Highlanders; France, 2 months; Home, 2½ years. Final rank, Lance Corporal.
