Biography: Son of Duncan MacGregor; born Rathen, 25 August 1883. Arts, 1901-05. Private, 1st Gordon Highlanders, 1906. Mobilized, August 1914. Served-France, 14 August 1914; Prisoner of War in Germany, 27 August 1914, till interned in Holland, February 1918. Final rank, Company Quarter Master-Sergeant.
