Biography: Born Aberdeen, 18 March 1895. B.Sc. (Agriculture), 1920. Commissioned, 12 Scottish Rifles, 1915. Served - Overseas, 1915-16. Wounded. Relinquished Commission, March 1919. War work - Recruiting, Ministry of National Service, 1917-18.
