Biography: Son of George Macaulay; born Uig, 3 January 1895. Science 1918- . Enlisted, 1st Ross and Cromarty Mountain Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery (T.F.), 1911. Mobilized, August 1914. Served with 4th Highland Mountain Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery; commissioned, April 1919. Home, August 1914-1915, 1918; Gallipoli, April-December 1915; Egypt, December 1915-September 1916; Macedonia, December 1916-May 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
