Biography: Son of Robert Spark; born Durris, 6 March 1897. M.B. (Hons.), 1921. A.U.O.T.C, 1914-16. Pioneer, Special Brigade, Royal Engineers, September 1916. Served-France, November 1916-March 1917. Surgeon-Sub-Lieutenant, Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve, March 1917. Served in H.M.S. "Orcadia," Home Waters, Channel Fleet, March 1917-April 1918. Final rank, Surgeon-Sub-Lieutenant.
