Biography: Son of William Sinclair; born Aberdeen, 21 September 1871. M.A.1891. Joined Aberdeen Military Training Association (later, 1st Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders), 1914. War work-Red Cross Transport, Aberdeen, 1914-18; Special Constable, 1916-18.
