Biography: Son of George Lyon; born Banff, 30 November 1867. M.B., 1890; M.D., 1900. Joined Royal Army Medical Corps, 1894. Attached 63rd (1st London) Casualty Clearing Station, November 1913. Mobilized Lieutenant-Colonel R.A.M.C. (T.F.), 1914. Served-Home, 5 August 1914-January 1917 ; France, Belgium, January 1917-March 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant-Colonel. Croix de Guerre with Star.
