Biography: Son of George Lipp; born Bellie, Morayshire, 11 December 1891. M.B., 1914. A.U.O.T.C. Commissioned, Royal Army Medical Corps (Territorial), April 1915. Served-France, 2½ years; Prisoner of War, 10 months. Final rank, Captain. Military Cross, June 1917.
