Biography: Son of William Lawson; born Bibrughar, Upper Assam, 8 December 1879. M.B., 1904. Served in Royal Army Medical Corps, South African War, 1900. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C. (T.F.), 30 October 1914; attached to 2/3rd West Riding Field Ambulance. Served-Home, France, U.K., October 1914-December 1918. Final rank, Captain.
