Vachell, Herbert Redwood
Biography: Son of John W. Vachell; born St. John's, Glamorgan, 25 February 1853. M.B., 1878; M.D., 1881. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (T.) (a la suite), 1908. Mobilized as Lieutenant-Colonel, 4 August 1914. Attached to 3rd Western General Hospital. Served - Cardiff, 1914-19. Final rank, Lieutenant-Colonel.
