Biography: Son of John Duthie; born Aberdeen, 23 July 1888. Commerce, 1919-. Private, 3rd Gordon Highlanders, May 1916; commissioned, January 1918. Attached to 5th, 19th, Durham Light Infantry. Served-Home, 1916-18; France, Belgium, March 1918-October 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant.
