Biography: Son of John C. Riddell; born Aberdeen, 25 August 1899. Medicine, 1916, 1919-. A.U.O.T.C., 1916-17. Private, 41st Training Reserve Brigade, 16 October 1917. Served with 3rd Seaforth Highlanders. Home, 1917-18; 1918; France (Royal Engineers, Sound Ranging Section), February-March 1918. Wounded. Final rank, Private.
