Biography: Son of George Rae; born Lybster, 17 July 1886. M.A., 1910; B.D., 1913. Officiating Clergyman, Farnley Camp, 1914-17. Commissioned, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, 30 October 1917; attached 5th Division. Served-Home, 1917-18; Italy, March 1918-April 1919. Final rank, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th class. Mentioned in dispatches, January 1919.
