Biography: Son of Crawford Noble; born Aberdeen, 13 October 1880. U.D.A., 1901. 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Suffolk Yeomanry, October 1915; attached to 82nd Infantry Brigade Macedonian Corps. Served-Home, 9 months; Salonika, 1916-18; Caucasus, 1918-19. Final rank, Major. M.B.E. Mentioned in despatches, June 1917.
