Biography: Son of John P. Kilgour; born Singapore, 6 August 1895. U.D.A., 1916. Private, D Company, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1911. Mobilized. Home service, August 1914-January 1915. War work-Surveying Officer, Timber Supply Department, Edinburgh, 1917-19.
