Biography: Son of Duncan Kellas; born Inverurie, 16 March 1878. Law, 1902-04. Private, Gordon Highlanders, 1894 ; commissioned, 1911. Mobilized, 6th Gordon Highlanders, August 1914. Served-Home, August-November 1914; France, November 1914-March 1915 ; wounded; transferred to T.F. Reserve, October 1916. Final rank, Captain.
