Biography: Son of Thomas Jeans; born Portsmouth, 5 July 1881. M.B., 1904. War work - Civil Surgeon, Alexandra Military Hospital, Cosham, 4 August 1914-17, 1918-19. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C. (Radiologist), 2 April 1917. Served - Home, 4 months; France 8 months; Home, 8 months. Final rank, Lieutenant.
