Biography: Son of John Innes; born Dufftown, 9 February 1890. M.A., 1910; M.B., 1915. Served with 4th and 6th Gordon Highlanders, 1911-12. Mobilized. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 1915 (seconded from Gordons). Served-Home, August 1914-October 1915; Gallipoli, Egypt, France, October 1915-December 1918. Final rank, Acting Major.
