Biography: Son of James Inkster; born Aberdeen, 15 January 1888. M.B., 1909; M.D. (com.), 1913. Private, 1st Volunteer Battalion, Gordon Highlanders, 1904; Captain, R.A.M.C. (S.R.), 1913. Mobilized, 7 August 1914; attached to 10 Field Ambulance. Served-France, August 1914-October 1915, February 1917-March 1918; Salonika, October 1915-September 1916; France, Belgium, March 1918-November 1919. Final rank, Acting Major.
