Biography: Son of William Horne; born Cluny, Aberdeenshire, 23 January 1894. M.A. (I CIass), 1919. Private, R.A.M.C., 2/1st Highland Field Ambulance, 2 April 1915. Served-France, May 1915-March 1918. Prisoner of War, 21 March 1918-13 January 1919. Final rank, Sergeant.
