Biography: Son of George Hill; born Aberdeen, 17 October 1895. M.A., 1916; M.B., 1918. Enlisted, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1912. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., 1918. Served-France, 8 months; wounded. Resumed studies. Returned to service, Mesopotamia, 1918-. Final rank, Captain.
