Biography: Son of James Hargreaves; born Rothwell, 9 December 1885. M.B., 1909. Joined R.A.M.C. (V.), Aberdeen Company. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., December 1915. Served-France, 1915-December 1917. Demobilized for Civilian Medical Duties. Final rank, Captain.
