Biography: Son of Charles S. Hardie; born Aberdeen, 3 July 1888. M.A., 1909. Enlisted, R.A.M.C., 3/2nd Highland Field Ambulance, 24 August 1915. Served with 2/2nd Highland Field Ambulance, 41st Stationary Hospital. Home, 1916-17; France, 1917-18. Final rank, Private.
