Biography: Son of James S. Haig; born Ahmednagar, Bombay, 11 November 1873. M.B., 1895; M.D. (com.), 1901. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., 1908. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached to 2nd Northumbrian Field Ambulance, 30th Ambulance Train, 9th, 5th, 3rd, General Hospitals, 11th Stationary Hospital. Served-Home, 1914-15; France, Belgium, Germany, 4 years 10 months. Final rank, Major.
