Biography: Son of Alexander F. Greig; born Fyvie, 1 July 1848. M.B., 1873. Commissioned, 2nd Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders, 25 May 1878. Joined R.A.M.C. (T.). Home service, 3 Red Cross Hospitals, Fyvie, October 1914-March 1919. V.D., 1898. Mentioned in despatches, 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant-Colonel.
