Biography: Son of Robert N. Gray; born Willesden, 17 January 1893. M.A., 1914. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, September 1910; commissioned, August 1918; attached to 12th Royal Scots. Served-Home 1 year; France, Germany, 3 ½ years. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
