Biography: Son of John Gordon; born Belhelvie, 24 April 1881. M.A., 1904; B.Sc. (Agr.), 1906. Gunner, Royal Garrison Artillery (Siege), 20 March 1916; commissioned, 1 April 1917. Served-Home, 2 years (Anti-aircraft Service). Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
