Biography: Son of Francis Gellan; born Monymusk, 16 December 1898. Private, 56th T.R.B., 17 February 1917. Served with 10/11th, 1/6th, Highland Light Infantry, France, Belgium, 2 years 11 months. Severely wounded. Final rank, Private.
