Biography: Son of William Geddies; born Accrington, 8 July 1883. M.B., 1914. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C, 27 April 1915. Served-Home, April-September 1915; Gallipoli, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Palestine, September 1915-March 1919. Final rank, Acting Major. Mentioned in despatches, 1917.
