Attached to 1st Highland Field Ambulance; 51st Highland Casualty Clearing Station; 47th London Division. Served-Home, 1914-15, 1916; Egypt, Gallipoli, March-December 1915 ; France, July 1916-March 1919. Final rank, Acting Colonel. D.S.O., C.B.E. Five mentions, 1915, 1917, 1918, January, June, 1919.
